Gulf Shores trip

Post by BamaWildcat on 7/16/2009, 2:04 pm

Just got back from our Gulf Shores trip. Gulf State park is a perfect place to stay. Had a good time. The 'Cat stayed nice and cool with the new AC vents I installed . They really made a difference. Boy....... those sunsets and sunrises really make you want to stay forever........

Late evening sunset at the campsite.....

Early morning sunrise at the beach.....

Did they have the new fishing pier open yet? I think it is something like 1400 ft long. I like to go fishing down at the high bridge that goes into FL. At night time you can see shrimp swimming with a good lantern.

It wasn't open when we were there. They had the gates closed and there was some equipment sitting around.Never saw anyone working.
