Albuquerque KOA
Stayed on July 2, 2009 for one night. Park seemed to be well kept. It is pretty old (my sister worked there in 1974). Only gravel between sites which were approximate 15-20 apart. Pool was a little chilly. For an overnighter not bad. Typical KOA.

Re: Albuquerque KOA
How convenient was this to I-40?

Scruff & Tater,
This KOA was VERY convenient to I-40. Take Juan Tabo exit. Head south a couple of blocks, turn east on Skyline road and it will be about 3-4 blocks on the left. My Magelan actually said it was on the right but it wasn't. Again very convenient to I-40. A lot of construction on I-40 right now by the spaghetti bowl. Sorry its taken so long to respond.

Re: Albuquerque KOA
Thanks, Mark.
This sounds like a good place to stay when we're passing through Albuquerque. We'd like to stop and explore the Albuquerque area a bit instead of just driving through all the time.

Mark,
When we passed through Albuquergue in 2007 we stayed at the American RV Park. Quite nice, conveniet to I-40, but not noisy, well kept, level and spacious concrete pads and wonder of all wonders, shaded. We'd stay there again.

Re: Albuquerque KOA
Thats good to know. We do usually stay at KOAs becuase we know what to expect. When we checked into the Pueblo KOA I found out that I have 34,400 points! I'll look up the American RV Park next time we go thru. I grew up there (middle school & high school) so I know most of the areas to stay away from.
