Harpers Ferry KOA

Post by cummins2500hd on 7/5/2009, 1:24 pm

We camped at the KOA in Harpers Ferry this weekend.

I took a relaxing 2 mile mountain bike ride and saw lots of deer....

And found an amazing veiw of the Shenandaoh River.....

Nice pictures, how did you like the CG? I've heard some of the sites are really small.

You know, Red Lion is only 50 miles from me. We're almost neighbors!!!! cheers Come on over for an adult beverage......

After the deer spotted you spotting them, did they run away? It looks like a nice place.

The photos do look better without the date showing.

The Shenandaoh valley is one of those places we'll just have to visit after we (eventually) retire.

Great photos!

While you were there, did you guys get a chance to get down to Old Town? If not, and you do the trip again, definitely get down to Old Town and take the tour of the place.

This was our maiden voyage with our Cat and as someone mentioned, we got stuck in a super tight pull thru. Trees on both sides, just enough room for slides. We couldnt lower the awning. Hope you guys had a larger site than we did.

The pull through sites were to be remodeled in summer 2009, but I am not sure if that happened given the economy.

Yeah, Old Town is great. We have fairly large sites we camp on every year....
