Keith, we live about 15 minutes north of Oshkosh. EAA aircraft fly over our house all week. In years past we've seen everything from the Goodyear blimp to the Concorde to WWII planes, you name it. We don't plan on attending this year, but send a PM our way if you have some free time and maybe we can get together.

wildcat2006, Sorry I missed your post first time around, but please send a PM this way too if you have some open time.

Sounds like a chance to have a Wildcat get-together at Rich's place end of July...

I've been meaning to get my number from admin, but just haven't gotten to it. If I had my WC in the drive-way, with Keith & wildcat2006 over, wouldn't there be bonus tag points for the three of us together at once?

Keith & wildcat2006,

Not sure if you're checking the forum this week but if so, how's EAA going? You have to get a picture of the A380 & post.

Lots of WWII era planes flying in & out of ATW last couple days.

As always, it was an extraordinary aviation event. This year (2010) they have many specials happening with a tribute to the DC-3 or C-47.

We now can do our camping resv online and before the show. Who's going this year??

Hey Thanks Keith......

Been quite a while since I went to the Fly-In.......always a lot of great aircraft, lots of people, too far to walk........takes a few days to see everything...

Are you active as a pilot in the DEN area? My Dad still flies out of BJC, in a airplane he built.

Take care

I ride in the back now. Had all the flying I wanted courtsey of Uncle Sam. Flew F4-E's many many years ago, then flew for Jeppesen long before Boeing bought them. I still enjoy going to airshows and shooting planes with a camera instead of air2air.

Wow, great pics, thanks for sharing!

That view from the hill overlooking Denver is very familiar, have seen it many times as I kinda grew up on that airport and worked there for many years....

Have worked with a couple of ex F4 drivers here too...great guys and great pilots. They both went onto work for PanAm in Germany for years....was a privilidge to fly with them!

If you ever get back up to BJC to shoot pics let me know, will hook you up with me pappy and he can show u around up there !

Take Care

Thanks Mike:
I will be at the airshow again this summer (August) and would consider it an honor to meet your Dad. As we get closer we can nail down details. Please let me know if you get to Denver.

Regards,
Keith

Hey Kieth,

Will let you know if we do get down your way, we are talking about taking a trip there this June, dont know if we will pull the 5er or not yet, as there arent many campgrounds on the north side of Denver anymore.

Dad is a great guy, had the same hanger at BJC for over 30 years now!

Have a great day

Mike
