Tag a cat and earn points. Rules : READ THIS FIRST

If you spot a cat on the road or Campground with a forum number on it, You can tag that cat.

You and the person getting tagged will earn points.

On Dec 31 2009 The person with the most points will win a prize. Prize to be announced later ....

This will be on the points system. I'll add points as their " Tagged "

10 points for each camper with a forum number. So whoever you spot will get 10 points and if your camper has the forum member number you will get 10 points.

You don't have to have the vinyl decal numbers. A car tag with the member numbers on it will work as well.



I'll back post points if you have met other members / tagged on the road or campground. Just let me know who all you've seen or who saw you. I know theres a few that have met up at the campgrounds and on the road..... I know you have Tater. Just remember the points only count if they were already a member.





Rules and points system.

10 points for meeting or seeing someone on the road with a forum number. As long as your a member of the forum already and do not have a number on your camper you still get 10pts.
5 points if you meet someone on the road or meet in a campground and both parties are members of the forum but do not have numbers on the camper for either party. Refer to the first rule if either camper has numbers on the camper and both are members you both get 10 points.
Jackpot Bonus = If you post a picture of your meeting " IN A CAMPGROUND or in a parking lot rest area on the road " with or without a number.
But you still must be a forum member already you get = 10 points. With a number on camper 20 points.
Does not count if the camper is sitting in the yard..... It must be in action on the road / campground.


I'm sure the rules will evolve as the game progress's through the year. So stay up to date with this forum topic.

If we meet someone at a campground, but they aren't camping (they live in the town we're visiting), does that count?

Really good question.... I do think it should count as long as their on the Forum Numbers list. That would be a five pointer.

Okay, I'm confused already. Who get points for what?

Example:
Scruffy and I have numbers. RobertZ (Bob and Karyn) didn't have numbers last fall. We met at WDW. RobertZ gets 10 points because our trailer had decals? We get 5 points because Bob and Karyn are members but didn't have numbers?

Another example:
We met Retired2 (Gary and Glenda) in Las Cruces. Our trailer was in the campground, Gary and Glenda came to visit (without their trailer). They get 10 points because our trailer has numbers? We get 5 points because they are members and were visiting?

Or - whoever spots us gets 10 points (because we have numbers) and we also get 10 points for our own trailer, and 5 or 10 points for theirs (depending on whether they have numbers or not). In that case, I think "RobertZ" and "Scruffy and Tater" would get 15 points each. And "Retired2" and "Scruffy and Tater" would each get 15 points.

They have to already be a member? So, if I give a forum card to someone I meet, and they join and say they are joining because this very nice old lady named Tater approached them and told them what a great site this is, nobody gets any points? Just kidding - I understand about having to be members when the sighting takes place.

Well, is anyone else confused?

One more thing. We are in a rest area having lunch. Another Wildcat pulls in... they are members and might or might not have numbers. They notice our numbers as they pull through, but we never see them because we're eating lunch and aren't watching traffic. They get 10 points because they spotted us - do we get 10 points because they spotted us? If they are still in the rest area as we pull out, but they don't have numbers, we can't tell if they are members or not. But, we report that we saw a Wildcat in that specific rest area, and they report seeing us, do we/they get any points for their trailer. Or, do they get 10 points for ours and 5 or 10 points for theirs?

By now, I think everyone might be thoroughly confused.

Well, Scruffy and Tater have those two sightings as members.

I'm glad I don't have to keep a tally of all this.

I thought I had it cut out pretty simple.

Or we could just 5 points anytime you meet or see another member no matter what. But I was trying to incorporate the number system for members who have put the numbers somewhere on the camper be it the logo's or a car tag... But still give points to a member that hasn't requested a number yet.

If you can come up with a clear points awarded system,,, throw it at me quick.

Thats what I"ve been trying to get ya'll to do ever since we started the forum.,,,,, But Its hard to get anyone to step in front of the camera......

But I"ll add this ,,,, If you post a photo with the whoever you meet with or without numbers and its a photo of you in the campground ,,,, 20 extra points = Well worth the effort.

OF course some of those would become the main logo when a great shot pops up....

I think more points should be awarded for 'Cats with numbers. This will give a little incentive to members who haven't gotten numbers but are thinking about it.

Don't count on pictures of me. I'm camara shy. I can't have my pic on the 'net, I'm in the witness protection program. lol

I think you'd be surprised. Taters got the most points so far and her and scruffy are from Texas....

I go into the P.O. quite often - haven't seen my pic there ----- yet.

I've always been confused. Age has nothing to do with it....although I AM old. I just had a birthday, won't say which one.
