Wildcats at Pirate Land Myrtle beach SC

Post by Admin on 6/11/2009, 9:40 am

There were 2 Cats parked a couple spaces down from me at Pirate land, but they were gone the next day.

Saw some more around the campground but didn't get a chance to speak to anyone. One was a TT.

Saw one on I-20 headed east pretty close to florence sc, as we were headed west on I20 going back home.

Are you number 22? If so, I saw you going into Myrtle Beach on Saturaday 6/6/09. We stayed next door at Lakewood. Their were several WC's there. Lost our electric awning to the storm.

Yep that was me #22..... You must have been the wildcat that turned down hwy 544 at the fork..... ?

I had my neice pulling a tt in front of me and we were following them. I saw the sign for 544 but they missed it. If that was you I think you passed me and turned down 544.
They were looking for Hwy 17.... Thats a big mistake that I'll never make again. 544 is the way to do it. We sat on 17 seemed like forever trying to get through that one red light.

I saw a wildcat across the creek . We were parked right on the ocean . There was a wildcat parked on the last row pointing toward the creek and pirate land. The front of my camper was pointed toward the creek facing lakewood ... I guess thats lakewood.

I got up in the middle of the night and put my awning up on the first storm, Then I think it was Tuesday night I put it up before I went to bed. That storm rocked the crap out of the Cat. Hate you lost the awning.

Wish you had of came over to visit. We stayed around the camp / beach and pool....

That was indeed us that turned on 544. Our insurance guy came today and approved the repair of $2900 for replacing the electric awning. However, I think we are going to put a manual on instead. It's been a long time since I have been in a storm that lasted that long.

Yea , I know. Everytime the wind would stop blowing I'd , ah good its over, Then another blast of wind and lightning would roll through....

glad to hear they will replace it. I like the manuals myself.

We were in a CG near Kitchener, Ontario several weeks ago and there were 3 other WC in the CG. We got talking to the one person and told them about the website. They had never heard about it but seemed very interested. Turns out, we bought from the same dealer and the same saleslady. Small world.
