Bath hardware install/upgrade

Post by Mopar_Earl on Mon Jun 08, 2009 5:57 pm

Hello all,
I finally got the courage up and drilled holes in my new trailer and installed the bath hardware I bought months ago. I bought this kit @ Lowes for $48 and added the two matching robe hooks for $16 each. The kit was made by Price Pfister and was $23 cheaper than buying each item separately. They are brush nickel finish to match the rest of the decor. I still have the 18" towel bar to mount yet when I feel up to mounting it to the sidewall. lol

BTW, I was shocked to find 3 studs in my curved wall, so everything got mounted to a stud.

Earl

Nice looking fixtures. You're fortunate to have a wall big enough for that. Good job!

My WC doesn't seem to have enough wall space to put anything up. Anyone have good pics of placement in rig similar to mine?

Treekiller , go to the profile link just below the main forum picture above inside the profile section you'll see signature.
Add your camper model and tow vehicle and other stuff there. that way you won't have to remind everyone what you have.

Mopar Earl,,,, worthy Dude < I can't bring myself to do that yet, But your giving me the courage...... I'm scared to press my luck, or just scared I'll drill into a nest egg of wires going through the wall.... Your set up looks awesome. I did screw in some dinky nice little towel hooks. I'll go for the big stuff soon.

I like your signature,,,, I just noticed that ,,,,

Once I got over drilling the first pilot hole, the rest didn't bother me. lol I did take my time and measured many times to get everything even and straight. My wall only had the switch on it and I pulled it out and was able to find the wiring dropped down from the ceiling to the switch and back up, so I knew there weren't any other wiring in the wall. I had the kit for months before I felt up to mounting them. lol I don't know if I'll ever have the courage to mount the towel bar to the exterior wall.

Yeah, I added that to my signature in hopes to get people's attention to donate to the forum. Is it working? lol
