Web site down
Anyone else notice that the web site goes down at about 11:30pm MDT every night? It is only down for a minute or so. Kind of frustrating, this is when I'm usually on looking at "posts since last visit". After reloading the web site, my list is empty, have to scan all the forums for new posts. It happens to me a lot, almost always at the same time; other web sites are not affected.

That's probably when some sort of maintenance is done by the phpBB system.

Re: Web site down
I think we need a search for the "posts over the past 24 hours" or whatever timeframe parameter. I've done the same thing and had a blank list. Not necessarily at 11:30MDT, but when I accidently exit the forum and come back immediately.

I have no control over those,,,, I could make a suggestion to the powers that be.
View posts since last visit seems to do it for me, but I rarely ever use that feature, I just scan through each topic.
The latest posts are always at the top.
Which button are ya'll using ?

I use the "since last visit" the most. If I lose the list, I check "your posts"

Re: Web site down
I use the VIEW POSTS SINCE LAST VISIT, but, it i get distracted and do something else for a while, and come back, they are all gone. I guess when Internet Explorer updates every 5 minutes, or so, the posts since last visit get wiped out.
But I stay logged in all the time, but I have to close out this sites page on Internet Explorer to keep from losing new posts.
The old forum, you can pick ACTIVE TOPICS SINCE: then there is a pull down for: 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, etc.....
That would be nice......

well not really,,,,,
Those have been there since Day One.
I thought ya'll were asking for something different from that.
Is that what you were needing ?

Re: Web site down
I just look up my last post, then scroll down the list and find messages that have been posted since my last visit. I'm not one for reading instructions, and I don't notice those little blue thingies that say "view posts since last visit." That's why I just don't have a clue sometimes.

Re: Web site down
I use "post since last visit". Works fine unless I fat finger it and exit before looking at them or if the site hicups and kicks me off.

Re: Web site down
There are some scripts (aka mods) in the PHPBB support forum that support "latest 4hr, 8hr, 12hr, 24hr, etc". I don't know how easy they are to implement.

Re: Web site down
It's way down at the bottom of the page. A blue "tool bar" type line. They provide the software and maintanence and other helpful stuff to Phillip.
You can click on the links on that line and have a look.
