Upgraded my marker/clearance lights to LED
Hello all,
I upgraded my Bargman model #59 incandescent reflector marker/clearance lights with model #59 LED lights with reflectors from Bargman. They are plug and play. Pop off the old lens, pull the bulb, plug in LED module and install the new lens and your done. It's quick and easy and you don't have to remove the bases and mess around with sealers and such.
I got the kits at TexMood. Bargman makes upgrade kits and complete lights. I bought the complete lights which come with the base, bulb holder/pigtail, LED, and lens. The upgrade kits are just the LED and the lens but cost more?? The complete light kits were $5.90 each and the upgrade kits go for $7.85 each. I have no idea why the upgrade kits with less parts cost more. Nice thing about buying the complete lights is having spare parts. I now have spare new bases and wiring pigtails. For the 4 amber and 7 red and shipping, total cost was $75.85.
Complete amber light kit 47-59-402 $5.90
Complete red light kit 47-59-401 $5.90
Upgrade amber kit 47-59-412 $7.85
Upgrade red kit 47-59-410 $7.85

But the consumer in me wants Mopar_Earl and Keith to hook up so we can see side-by-side which one is the better lamp! That would be someplace near St. Louis?
I think that Keith's must have been around $20? don't know if his $225 price he had on his video thread included the tail / brake lights too....

Mopar_Earl,
That's a great find! Thanks for sharing the information. It is odd the upgrade kit is more than the entire assembly.
