AZ - Foothills/Yuma - Shangri La

Post by Scruffy and Tater on 5/17/2009, 4:05 am

This is a clean park. There were a lot of permanent residents, many of them in park models. This time of year they have plenty of sites available for transients who are passing through or visiting the area for awhile. We were put in a spot near the highway, but we were tired enough that the noise didn't bother us. They have mostly side-by-side hookups (except the back-ins around the perimeter), with very little space in between. We had a pull-thru. When we were leaving, we saw a park a little farther from the highway, that we'll check into before our next trip out to San Diego.

RVs are parked on gravel. We were told to park the truck behind the trailer after we got unhooked.
The cement walkway is about 6 feet wide, and at a more crowded time, another RV would have been facing ours and sharing the same walkway.

Side-by-side hookups. There are a couple back-in park models in the background.

Very wide paved streets. Since the campsites are at a 90 deg angle to the streets, the extra space was much appreciated when we pulled out.

Thanks for the review. Great pics of how the pull throughs are laid out.
