NM - Las Cruces KOA
We were very pleased that we picked this campground. The view was spectacular. It was far enough off the interstate, and a good distance from the highway where it was located, to be very quiet. The pull-through sites had level cement strips where the trailer's wheels would be placed. Around the strips was gravel which was raked each day. The pull thru sites didn't have tables, which was okay with us, as we weren't spending any time outside the evening we were there. The back-in sites had tables. Some of the sites are terraced.

NM is a great place.
I don't stay in KOAs or the like much, but I have to ask... Do all KOAs rake the rocks on the driveways like that? Seems like a lot of work to make it look nice!

Awwwww..... - That was May 13 - still springtime. Wasn't too hot the day we were there. Actually, we're used to it. Northeast TX gets incredibly hot and stays that way all summer long.
We were very impressed with how they irrigate the pecan trees by flooding the entire grove. Efficient and effective.
The KOA was a neatly kept campground.

At the Asheville East KOA we would go out every Monday morning to police the vacated sites, clean out the fire pits (and you wouldn't believe the garbage that some campers leave behind), rake the sites if necessary and check for any maintenance problems.

I think every KOA we've stayed in was clean and neat. Some had paved pads, some grass or sand. Sometimes we'll peek into the rest room/shower area, and so far, those have all looked fine.
One of our favorite campgrounds, and it's one that we stay at everytime we go that way is the Tallahassee West in Chattahoochee, FL. The new owners are really putting a lot of effort into improvements. It's got many trees, which we like, and the pads are far enough apart that campers have breathing room for themselves and slideout room for their RVs.
