Back up lights

That's the one thing I hope I never need. I always plan my arrival at a campground to be during daylight.

I'll tell you what works almost as good as backup lights, the scare lights on the trailer.

This was one of the best mods I did after reading about yours. Thanks for the idea. It never fails, something will go wrong and make for a late arrival.

Great stuff and a good schematic. I did exactly the same thing and also wired in the scare lights to the circuit. I added a switch in the truck to turn on all the lights from the truck if needed. That is very helpful after dark and you are making a tight turn across a culvert or near an obstruction. I can turn all the lights on without being in reverse. The lights mounted under the Wildcat in front of the tires and pointed slightly outward let you see if the tires are going to hit anything.

Backup lights should be standard on any camper. It is crazy not to have them.

Absolutely. What were they thinking? The new trucks already have it cabled out.
