Future Frustration.
I think I’m going to find it frustrating when TV stations across the country turn off their analog signals. We have HDTV’s in our Wildcat and at every new campground we go to we have to run a channel scan so that the TV can find which channels are available. Both of the TV’s run two scans, the first one is for analog stations and the second scan is for the digital stations. The scan process take a couple of minutes so I think I’m going to find it very frustrating while I wait for the TV to do an analog scan when I know there won’t be any analog stations to find.
I’ve looked in the owners manual to see if I can turn off the analog scan but apparently it can’t be done, at least with the two TV’s we own. We don’t watch a lot of TV, but it is nice to have something to watch on those rainy days or those evenings when flying/biting critters drive you inside.

Re: Future Frustration.
Here in my hood. 95% are digital already. I actually get better reception and I live and camp in mountainous areas.
Not knowing the brand, I'm not sure why it couldn't scan each format individually. I just have the converter boxes. I think I might get the wingman for my antenna to help pull in the UHF channels a little better.
