Would you buy again?

Post by mnraineri on 4/19/2009, 4:56 am

First topic message reminder :

Looking at buying a 2006 29 RLBS for a first time 5th wheel. Are you generally satisfied and would you purchase another Forest River product. Thanks.

I bought mine new in January and while i did have some things to fix after the first few months of ownership they are overall a good value for the money. No matter what brand you go with just make sure to open/close, turn on/off everything a few times before buying it. I haven't had one regret in moving from TT to 5th wheel and when the time comes I will give Forrest River another look. Hopefully I will be able to step up to the Cardinal or something similar when the Wildcat is done.

We love our 31TS and would most definitely buy another WC or Forest River product if the need arose.

I think that you get a lot of product for your money, the quality could be a bit better. The tankless water system would put me off buying again, but other companies might be going down the same route,
so I would have to look at what is available when I come to renew.

Bought another Cat

Post by TLC on 3/11/2011, 3:27 pm

We are new to the forum as this is our first post. However we've read it for several years now and really enjoy. We had a '04 29 BHBP for the past 7 years and recently traded it in and placed an order for a new 343 FL and can't wait for it to get here. I always told everyone that the Wildcat isn't the Lincoln of the fifth wheelers but it was more like the Chevrolet of fifth wheelers. being 'empty-nesters' we did add several options to our model on order and when I mentioned the Chevrolet statement to our salesman he said he felt the new 343FL was a little higher on the Totem Pole so I told him, "Ok, We'll tell everybody it's the Buick of fifth weheelers now!"
