Lake Wissota State Park, WI
We camped at Lake Wissota St. Pk. near Chippewa Falls, WI this past weekend and enjoyed the near complete solitude. There was only one other camping party. We like the park an will probably return. Mostly non-electric sites, no full hook ups (non in any WI state park that I know of); we had an electric site. Water had not yet been turned on (there was still ice on the lake). We were able to dump, but no flushing or rinsing.
They appear to have added about 35 new sites (fire rings in place have never been used, fresh asphalt streets). Each of them has a 6 inch capped PVC pipe sticking out of the ground for which I was not able to determine a purpose but am guessing there may be more elecrtical sites on the way.
In addition, it's now officially a tradition that snow will fall on the WC on our first camping trip of the season. Here is the evidence:

All was melted by the time we pulled out at 5 PM.

Glenn,
That pic is awesome, glad you had a good time. We camped this weekend also, but the temp was bit more balmy (low 70's).
Being a deep Southerner my whole life, I'm not sure how comfortable I would be pulling the Cat in the snow.

Mark,
We lived in Chicago for 43 years, and we wouldn't be a bit comfortable pulling the 'Cat in the snow or ice.
We did that back in the old TT days, it was a PITA.

I agree with both of you; I would not tow in snow either. Fortunately all the snow you see in the photo was gone by the time we were hooking up to leave and the roads were bone dry all the way home. I did a lot of worrying Sunday morning though!

Nice pic Glen. The snow didn't quite make it here, but it sure was windy.

Glen,
Two years ago for Spring Break, we camped in Palo Duro Canyon, about 40 miles south of Amarillo, TX. Two days after we left, they received 11" of snow. It is a mixed blessing. I would have loved to be in the snow, only if it would have melted in a day or two!
Glad you made it home safe!
