This should help out a lot of campers. When it was posted on the old site it made me realize why the outside cable did not work scratch I needed a jumper cable.I bought my rig used and I was blaming the Concertone.

Of course I don't mind having my photos posted, that's what they are there for. But I can't take credit for this one, that's not mine. I can't remember who posted this originally.

Where is that Sat in and Sat out where the jumper is needed? Probably obvious....but I can't think of where that is at...

Farmer,
Mine is on the opposite side of the entertainment center, away from the Concertone. Its the only double jack plug in that area.

If you are using cable, you have to put the jumper in place to push the cable signal back to the bedroom.

And turn the booster off.

For those with the 29RLBS I have a drawing specific to that trailer. See link to photos in my sig. I can e-mail it to anyone that wants it.

Along this topic and from something I posted a few days ago, if your antenna reception is bad, try swapping the the cable on the "ANTENNA" with the cable on the "CABLE"on the Winegard plate. It is a problem I had encountered and so did Keith because it was wired incorrectly from the factory.

I was the one that posted it on the other site.
I was trying to post the img here, but can't seem to make it happen.
What is the magic needed to do this?

If you go to the pictures forum topic you'll find the answer there.
If you look on the tool bar above the text box when you open one up to type you'll see if you mouse over the green box, HOst an image. click on that and browse your computer files for the picture that you want to add. Then host it, After you click host it, you'll see the URL lines get filled in. Copy and paste that line into the other green box next to " host an image" and paste the url line in there. click ok and your pic will be added to the text box.
When you hit send it will appear in your message. Did that help ?

Park cable.

Post by Admin on 5/27/2008, 4:55 pm

I had remembered reading that awhile back but couldn't remember what I read.

So when I got to fort wilderness and tried hooking up the cable , I wound up hooking a cable from the top coax plugin on that panel, to get cable to the tv. Tried and tried to get it through the Concertone. Never crossed my mine to jump those 2.

So you jump those two so the picture goes through the concertone and surround sound ..... ?

Mine aren't labeled. So I had no idea. I assumed both where OUT. But I'm understanding the top one is OUT and bottom is IN ,,,,,,

Nice diagram. I think you should add the labels, "Sat In" and "Sat Out" to it also so one can tell which is the incoming feed side.

32Qbbs connections

Post by Admin on 5/28/2008, 1:41 am

Heres a drawing of my 32Qbbs set up. Mine doesn't seem to have the antenna booster, or where would that be located ?

Mine has the A/V jacks, how does that come into play with the other drawing ?

I connect a XBox to the A/V jacks on the bottom shelf, and theres a Video out to the TV on the TV shelf. Theres no Coax connection on the TV shelf just the A/V out to the TV. Yellow a/v is all there is.
So I connect a a/v cord from that to the TV. The Xbox picture and sound go through the Concertone fine that way. We watch movies and play games with the xbox. I've never had to put a DVD or CD in the concertone.

When using the park cable I came from the top coax connection on the panel straight to the the TV. Thats the only way I could get park cable to work. Thats where I guess I was supposed to jump those 2 coax connections and then still leave the TV on the Video input channel and get the picture throught the a/v jack like I was doing already. ?

Can't speak for the 32Qbbs, but there is a drawing for the 29RLBS in my photo folder.

Hi Phillip,

Your booster should be where your other TV is. Its a little button that you push in. Mine is located in the bedroom ceiling above the TV.

Re: cable connector diagram by shooter

Post by scfiremarshal on 6/6/2008, 12:41 am

Good morning!
I am finally getting around to reviewing the wiring for the tv/concertone. I see the diagram shooter posted at the beginning of this forum. It this typical for all models or is this for a particular one? From what I see in my 30lsbs so far, it may be different. When i hook up to park cable, I am able to get the tv to work , but with a fuzzy picture.....so I took all poorly installed screw connectors off (you would think a company like forest river could invest in a decent set of crimping tools and not just use regular pliers!) and replaced them with good crimps. This produced a minor improvement in picture quality. I still haven't been able to locate any splitters in the system. Any clues as to where it is located? I do know that when I run a clean connection from the house straight to the back of the concertone I get a pretty good picture, which leads me to believe either I have some more bad connections (splitter) or some of my wiring is wrong. There is a box built in to the outside wall on the concertone side of the trailer I assume this is considered an "end table" of sorts. Inside of this box is where all the cable is routed, three cables in three out, two of which are orange, the others are grey, all put together with inline connectors. Was able to trace where most went, but still can't find where the wire goes to the outside TV connection, or the back TV. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: cable connector diagram by shooter

Post by John&ConnieNeeley on 4/20/2011, 8:56 am

In our new WC 313 on it's first trip out, attemped to hook to park cable, ZILCH....using RV Antenna OK....sure wish I had the diagram given above to troubleshoot...

First, I found a loose cable connector at the Antenna Booster unit which had pulled out of the connector. These are cheap push-on kind, not CRIMP connectors as should be used. Repushed connector on, still nothing. Brought in cable from box to Antenna Booster unit via the bedroom window, worked fine, even the main TV in living room. The TV in the living room rises up from the console via motor. Checking the wiring there, I noticed the "hidden" .."SAT/Cable" unit, inside a storage area. Noticed one of the cables had pulled out of that connector also. I was unable to get it back as the cable is toooo tight, so ended up jury rigging it until I could get it to the dealer for repair under warranty. They have repaired it, but still using the push-on connectors. Now my outside Cable input works. See what happens on next trip if movement pulls out coax from connectors again....if so, I'll just go to Radio Shack and get some crimp types and redo all of them.

Sottz - The way they have mine wired or should be wired, If I have any memory, is 3 CC's coming off my splitter. Bedroom, EC, and outside. They put my signal booster behind the TV in the EC. They never put the outside hook up on mine. One of my next projects is dig. I am going to remove radio and see if I have 3 CC's. If I do actually have 3 I am going looking on the side wall to see if they ran the cable and never hooked it up. On my trailer there is only 1 park hook up. U either hook up cable or satellite. No jumper needed.

Did you turn off the booster. Behind my TV in the EC I have a 12 volt plug with a switch. That is my booster. I turn it on fuzzy cable. I turn off great picture.

I found that the splitters are behind the concertone. I found that to get by with out useing the jumper in the EC, open the plate and put a two splitter in the wall one will feed the EC and the other feed will feed the other jacks including the outside. Also with the digital transitions the antenna's are nothing more then a mast to hold an add on digital antenna. I unhooked mine from the amp and redid the Master bedroom outlet which cleared up all the pictures on all tv's. I am sure all units are a little different but for the most part it should work for any of you with the jumper set up posted earlier. good luck, CKelly42 I would look behind the radio but it sounds like you need to use the jumper to send it out to the splitter.
