welcome linemanhd and rudedog14. Good to have you both in the forum.

linemanhd, we didn't have any problem adjusting to the 5th wheel - maybe because it was years ago when we had tt's.

rudedog14, the snow and wind combined could be a big problem. You wouldn't want to end up in a ditch. An accident like that would delay your camping season and make you very unhappy. Can you wait until the next weekend?

I am picking my Wildcat up in Hutchinson, KS. @ Brock - Geist RV. They are now forecasting 8 - 15 inches of snow and nasty winds. I believe it will have to wait until next week.

Just make sure that when you pick it up you go over the water lines really good. make sure they hook it up to the water line and make sure the cold snap didn't bust a line.

It will be worth the wait though. Not a good Idea to take that kinda chance on crashing. More likey somebody crashing into you.

welcome I think your choice to wait is a good idea. Been there done it and it's not fun in snow and ice.

Followed everyones advice and waited. Got it home April 4th battleing a 30 - 40 mile per hour wind. Now the weather here has gone to hell in a handbasket, snow, wind and plenty of yuck. I wanted go out today to make few minor repairs and modifications. No way!
