Repair a Series 7300 Parallax Power Supply

Has anyone had their Power Supply repaired.

They're usually beyond econimical repair and in fact you can upgrade it cheaper than the cost of replacement. You may want to check out Best Converter.
But first, what exactly is wrong with yours?

I am was getting low A.C. voltage on the 12 volt D.C. to my refrigerator causing the check lite to come on. Since my Cat was out from under warranty and we were on the road I had to purchase a new converter a few months ago. Since the converter was good for everything else I was going to have it repaired and use for a back-up. Someone told me that it was most likely a filter of some type. Jim
