Pet thread...show em if you got em!!

Post by TC on 2/27/2009, 10:43 am

First topic message reminder :

We need a pet thread in here, so I'll start.

Meet Molly; our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and the love of my life...next to the DW of course. Wink

I call her my little cockroach, because of all the prominent feeler wiskers she has.

As a pup 2007

We took him to one of the area lakes for a picnic where he was treated to fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans...and some extra one-on-one lovin' from Mom and Papa.

We're hoping 17 is in the cards for him. He's sure been a good and faithful companion. snoopy

I'm sad to report that our Winston didn't make it to his 17th B-Day. He crossed the rainbow bridge early this evening after 16 1/2 great years. He was a great dog and a faithful companion. They don't come any better! We're going to miss him.

TC, Sad to see that Our cat has been gone a week already, we miss him terribly but it is getting better. We think of all the good times he gave us. It helped when our friends told us that we provided him a great home during his life and was a happy cat. I am sure that Winston could not have asked for any better "parents" and was a happy family member. My best wishes go out to you.

The loss of a family pet always hurts. May you heal enough to love another one day.

So sorry TC. Those of us who have been pet owners all our lives know how hard it is. When we lost our Shepherd it took me 13 years to get another dog. Didn't want to go through the pain again. Now we have two. Hang in there...

It saddens me to know that your heart is breaking - and I know it is.

It was rough last night, but even rougher today as we go about our regular routine, knowing that he's no longer part of it.

But, it'll start getting better in time. And I'm sure he's enjoying having a healthy mind and body once again.

Our hearts go out to yo TC. Every time I loose a pet I say "never again", but they give you so much and ask for so little.
