Worlds of Fun Village
Has anyone stayed at the Worlds of Fun RV site? I just booked our trip for Memorial Weekend there...$40 a day...seems like a nice clean campground from what I have seen. It will be nice to be able to walk to the parks and back whenever we want!

MO - Worlds of Fun Village in Kansas City w/PICS!
Worlds of Fun is in Kansas City, Mo. It is a complex of an amuesement park and Oceans of Fun as a big water park all in one. The Worlds of Fun Village is the camping and cabin park that sits right off of I-435. The parks are clean and kept up really nice. Both WoF and OoF are within walking distance of the campground. We would go in and play for a while and then come back and make something to eat and rest...then walk back in from our campsite.
The campgrounds have full hook ups with all amps of electric service. Large pull through and back in lots. There is big loop for people who are coming in a big group so they can park close to each other as well. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub that opens on Memorial weekend and runs through Labor Day. It is pretty quiet and we liked the place really well. The bath house is nice and clean and has an amuesment park desk for tickets and what not. There is a gift shop that sells some snacks and most importantly...ICE for the beer cooler!
The cabins are nice and the larger units are positioned around ponds with water falls in them. The looked pretty cool. There was quite a bit of transitional traffic in the campground as it is right off the interstate but they generally came in mid day and left by 11 or so and that was not a big deal.
Here some pictures I took of the place...hope you enjoy!
