Permission to join the fun.....
Just found this group today looking around for opinions on suspension upgrades. Great site, had to join. Previously had a 26ft TT towed by a Chev conversion van. Now we're running a 2005 WC 28RK & 2005 GMC 2500HD Duramax purchased together in 2007. Talk about a pleasure towing, no more white knuckles.

Re: Permission to join the fun.....
Thanks to all, have lots of pictures, and of course you're not camping hard enough if you don't have a good story or two.
What brought me to this group was browsing for opinions regarding suspension upgrades. Its time for me to replace tires, and as long as I'm doing that perhaps adding shocks or an equilizer (or both).
It seems most who post elsewhere are adament that one should not buy trailer tires, instead go to LT tires instead. Of course, that means five new rims too, can't get the correct LT tires unless you go to a 16" rim. I talked to 4 or 5 dealers last weekend at an RV show who all said to stay with trailer tires. This included the local Wildcat dealer who had a Forest River rep there too.
At the same time I'm considering shocks and/or an equilizer (either EZ Flex or Equa Flex). Adding shocks would seem to be difficult to install, the slide-out has a bar that runs near the frame where the shocks would mount to. That leaves the equilizer.
Any experiences you're willing to share would be great.

to the forum,If you go into DIY Improvements, you will find a discussion on the EZ-flex and Equa-Flex systems. Many of us have installed them and everyone seems to really like them.
