Re: Hi Steve & Pam
We looked at the 24rl extensively before we bought our 29rlbs. The 24rl has some great features. I'm sure you're going to love yours.
Happy camping! :)

Getting close
The dealer called me on friday. He got the vin # on the WC, Said they hope to have it within two weeks. Can't wait to check it out. And then take it out for It's first camp. The dealer is local so any problems that they miss or I miss on the inspection can easily be fix I hope.

Re: Hi Steve & Pam
Sounds great. Do a good inspection when you pick it up. Make sure they have all the systems (gas, water, electricity) operating. Run water down all the drains, check for leaks, etc. We used to have a good inspection checklist. Maybe someone can post it.

Just got back from the dealer to take my first look at the new WC. It sure is pretty. I have scheduled to have the hitch installed on monday and then do the PDI. If all goes well we will take it out that weekend. There will be lots of pictures. Steve

Re: Hi Steve & Pam
Congrats. Just got ours 2 weeks ago. Camped last weekend in it. No problems. Happy to say that I think all past issues have been resolved by forest river. I think they have been reading the forums. The only problem I found was styrofoam in black tank flush backflow preventer. Good luck and again congrats. Steve

and go over the " list " before you're even notified that the camper is on the lot,,,

Well everything went great. Going from a 11ft Lance camper to this was like camping in luxury. Here are some pic's and this was Dakota's first camping trip too. Steve, Pam, Sidney & Dakota

Re: Hi Steve & Pam
Steve, I will agree with you on the comfort due to space. We still love our Lance and are keeping it for when it's just the DW and I. There are so many places I can take the Lance I would never get to with the Cat. See my signature and you will understand why we bought the Wildcat. Looks good, the Cat ...and the dogs. Keep having fun.
