Dometic question
I finally got around to checking the model number on my fridge. My 2008 29RKBS has a number of "DM" 2852. On the list of problem models there is a "RM" 2852. ?? I am waiting for a response from Dometic, does anyone know if these 2 are actually the same? I looked at their models on the web site and they are all also RM's......

Re: Dometic question
Is this your fridge?

I would assume that it is not affected since it does not come up on the recall list. I am taking mine in today, if I remember I will ask

Re: Dometic question
Yes! I don't know why I didn't find that page, gives me some relief, looks like it is not currently part of the recall.
Thanks,

Re: Dometic question
I think that Dometic did a re-design because of the recall. All the new models no longer carry the RM prefix. Mine has the DM prefix also.

Re: Dometic question
the dealer confirmed that it was only numbers with RM today. They did the fix while I waited this afternoon. 1/2 hour to repair and about 15 minutes to get out of the lot. The nearest RV center is small and packed with trailers. there is enough room for 1 vehicle and trailer to drive around the bldg. If there are customers, forget it, they have to start shuffling vehicles......
