Not really an option. I work for a large corporation that leases trucks through a national fleet management outfit. We all know it costs the company a ton of money (not just in fuel), but have nothing to say about it. One of those "spend a dollar to save a dime" deals.

Todays Price in Austria/Germany for Diesel € 1,50 the Litre. At the end of the year it will (maybe) be € 2,00 - horrible!
Ten years ago we paid 0,80 Euros the litre - wars will be fight soon because petrol and diesel - its my opinion to this.
Non of governments in EU do anything to regulate this price, because they get a lot of taxes on petrol!

diesel dropped to $4.29 today and cheaper yet if you bought groceries at the participating store, they would add additional 16 cents off. Felt like I was getting a bargain. Rolling Eyes

Last Tuesday we traveled from Swannanoa to Southern Pines. Diesel in Swannanoa was still $4.699. We stopped at a Love's on I-40 in Marion to fill up. The price was $4.359. On Friday when we returned the price at Love's had dropped $.04 to $4.319. sunny Prices in the Asheville area are still running about $4.579. Clint

Cheapest I've seen here in San Diego is $4.499. On the positive side, that's down $0.85 from the highs. Let's hope that oil comes down to a more reasonable level.

4.189 here at the Indian gambling casino. 4.60 and above everywhere else. I might go by next week and fill up our auxiliary tank. Until the fires are out, and our race car project parts are all in, we will be staying close to home. After that, we are off to the coast.

Price here is $4.24 and I was excited. Then it dawned on me...there is something wrong when I'm all giggly about $4.24/gal diesel. Yes it is nice that it dropped almost $.60/gal, but that is still $1.50 more than it should be...at least in my opinion.

Sad, isn't it? $4.19 here; what a bargin! I'm not sure what is losing value faster, my 401K or the diesel in my tank after I filled up last week.

I'd say they are balancing the scales with each other. Money I left in my Paypal money market account is the only thing I have thats actually got a plus sign to it.

Diesel dropped another nickel to $4.049 here today. I also noticed the differential from unleaded gas to diesel is down to forty cents. It was twice that a couple of months ago.
