Plug it Right Stabilizers
It's getting to that time of the winter where I want to order something for an upgrade. Is anyone using the Plug it right Stabilizers? Just wondering how the thumbscrew setup holds up over time. Also looking for general impressions with this product.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Plug it Right Stabilizers
I like mine alot. I have had them 3 years now without any problems. Easy to install and the price were right. It helped ALOT in the movement of the camper. My wife is very sensitive to motion sickness and was complaining of too much motion when we purchase the camper. After the installation......no complaints.
The thumbscrew hasn't given me any problems and we have about 35 days out each year.

We like our JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizers, would not be without. I think you will find any of these units will make your camper more stable.

Re: Plug it Right Stabilizers
Are these used in addition to a king pin stabilizer or does this eliminate the need for a stabilizer? We have some serious motion problems and I was going to purchase the king pin stabilizer, but was worried about storage. Wondering if I could get away with these??

Re: Plug it Right Stabilizers
Eliminate your king pin. I didn't want to haul around an extra piece of equipment either....these eliminate the storage and weight issue. Either brand would be a good option. PIR system were the right price at the time for me though. Good luck in your choices.

Re: Plug it Right Stabilizers
For me the king pin stabilizer, was a storage problem. The other systems are part of your rig and always ready to go. I agree what ever system you use, other then the king pin stabilizer, will stabilize the unit. Good Luck

Jim,
I think it is ok for me to reply here as I am the owner of Plug It Right and your question was about my product. We are still using our original knobs that we put on four years ago and we are fulltimers. Of the hundreds of sets that we have sold we have only replaced 4 knobs. We are always only a phone call away. Diana

Re: Plug it Right Stabilizers
we bought a new 31ts and used it a little last fall , with the jt strongarms . I use a king pin stabilizer also just to be sure . The only movement we notice is a little front to rear because the tire locks that i have will not fit between the 16 in tires and the bracket on the fender. Once i locate the right tire locks i think we will be set until someone else comes out with another must have . lol

I have the 16" wheels and use these chocks X-Chock They fit between the wheels nicely.
