Tagged Stanford

Post by markmassett on 7/28/2009, 2:25 am

Well I finally met a member of the forum. Stanford is Work Kamping at the Pueblo KOA. We camped there this past weekend so we could take the boat out on Pueblo Reservior. I saw his Cat when we pulled in but there was no vehicle. We took a dip in the pool and as soon as I saw him pull up I had to go by and say howdy!! It was nice finally meeting someone from here. I looked up the member numbers and don't see a number for Stanford but I still tagged him. Boy we really have a similar life. Both of us are retired enlisted Air Force (the backbone of the service) and both civil servants. I can't wait until I retire for good and get to go see the U.S. like Stanford. He told me he's put close to 70,000 miles on his 06 Cat.

I see a couple, but I can't identify if they've been here. At highway speeds, it's hard to get plates, etc. I'm trying. Last week I saw a newer one (new front clip) pulled by a maroon newer dodge around Reno.

We see 2 or 3 Wildcats a week here in the Park and make a point of talking to each and every owner. Mark was the only the second one that was from the Forum. I keep checking New Members thinking some of the ones we met will sign up.Hopefully when we get back home to the Mountains I will contact Phillip and get a number assigned so everyone will know us as we pass or meet out in this Beautiful World. Until then Happy Travels to All of You. Jim Stanford
