St. Louis area?
I'm planning a trip from WV to Moab, Utah with several days in Colorado.
Its 470 miles from our house to St. Louis, Mo. I hope to be in the area after the first days drive. Its all Interstate 64.
Does anyone know of a good place along I 64 or I 70 near St. Louis for a one night stay. Campground, Walmart, Flying J ect.... I don't care as long as its safe and close to the highway.

Re: St. Louis area?
The St. Louis area doesn’t offer much in the way of RV parks. Probably your best bet would be the Casino Queen campground in East St. Louis, Illinois. It’s close to the highway. The campground and casino are very safe but the town of East St. Louis is rough to say the least.

Mountain Man,
Sundermeir RV Park in St. Charles is a nice, quiet CG. It's not far from St. Louis. Stayed there in 2005 and would stay again.

Re: St. Louis area?
Thanks fellas.
I'll google both and learn a little more.
St. Louis area is the only planned stop from WV to Moab, Utah where I've had difficulty finding a place for a one night stop.

Cahokia RV Parque is just south of Casino Queen and another option. It is very nice and also secure. We stayed there 2 years ago. If you are going out os St. Louis on I70, Casino Queen is a little more accessible.
